Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience across multiple HR disciplines (e.g., employee relations, talent management, compensation, benefits). Healthcare industry experience a bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment, wage and hour, and labor law required; Montana regulations experience highly preferred
  • Experience with facilitation, training delivery, and presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HR systems experience (Workday, Meditech, or API) a bonus
  • A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experienced in evaluating and improving HR processes, job descriptions, compensation frameworks, and operational workflows
  • Knowledgeable about the ADA/FMLA process and skilled at guiding managers and employees through accommodations and leave management
  • A confident communicator who builds trust and influences at all levels of the organization
  • Calm, professional, and composed under pressure with the ability to pivot quickly
  • Passionate about coaching leaders, developing talent, and building high-performing teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) a plus
  • HR systems experience (Workday, Meditech, or API) a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals
  • Provide counsel on talent management, organizational design, and workforce planning
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards to deliver integrated HR support
  • Use people analytics and insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Champion a high-performing, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
  • Own HR operations such as FMLA, ADA accommodations, and job description development
