Position Overview: Ameresco currently has an opportunity for a Human Resources Co-op based in Framingham, MA to join the Corporate HR team. As a Human Resources Co-op, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR team through a variety of administrative, project-based, and analytical tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, HR operations, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Presently enrolled in an Undergraduate Program in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent relationship management, organizational, and time management skills and abilities.
  • Strong verbal, written, computer, multi-media sourcing outreach, communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, coordination, and project support to the Human Resources team.
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including collection and organization of pre-hire and new hire documentation for employee records.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for specific HR tasks to support process consistency and efficiency.
  • Assist with research and data gathering on a project-need basis across various HR functions.
  • Support special projects across multiple HR disciplines, such as employee engagement, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
  • Assist with managing and posting internship or job opportunities through Handshake and other campus recruitment platforms.
  • Update and maintain content on the HR intranet page to ensure information is current, accurate, and user-friendly.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and uphold HR data integrity.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships across departments and with internal stakeholders.
  • Perform general HR administrative tasks as needed.
