Inspired HR is currently looking for our next great Human Resources Consultant to work in partnership with a team of HR Consultants and their clients. This position has the flexibility to work remotely and on-site, as needed. Job Description This role provides tailored HR support to clients regarding daily administration and/or strategic support of the HR function to include several or all of the following: Strategic Partnering: Support the members of senior leadership in identifying organizational capability needs and implementing strategic workforce planning and people solutions. Organizational Planning and Consultation: Provide strategic advice to the senior leadership team to ensure people's impacts on business decisions are understood and factored in decision-making. Develop, implement, and evaluate human capital and organizational development goals, programs, and strategies. General HR Management: Provide expertise and leadership in all aspects of the employee experience (recruitment, learning and development, performance management, total compensation, payroll administration, employee relations, culture, engagement, and wellness) to deliver practical support to internal stakeholders. Talent Management & Development: With the competency framework as the foundation, partner with leaders in the effective implementation of performance management, talent assessment and succession planning aligned with the organization's strategic needs. Talent Acquisition: Oversee the effective sourcing, selection and attraction of top talent for crucial organizational capability needs. HR Team Leadership and Coordination: Provide excellent leadership in enabling the day-to-day success and long-term development of each human resources team member. Cultural and Global Alignment: Strengthen the 'one-company' philosophy in enabling the mutual understanding and leveraging of different social and cultural perspectives in the workplace. Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the effective management and enhancement of competitive annual and ad hoc total compensation and recognition programs. Employee Engagement: To create a unique competitive employment value proposition and employer brand, ensure understanding of employee needs and collaborate with leadership to action appropriate opportunities. Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and auditors and ensure proper actions to mitigate risk and guide legal and statutory compliance, policy expectations, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years' progressive experience in a human resources management or generalist position in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience working closely with management and senior leadership groups
  • A university degree and CPHR designation or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of human resources practices and legislative requirements
  • A relentless passion for client service
  • Superior oral communication skills and the ability to build rapport
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of computer systems, including MS Office (Word, Excel & PP) and previous work with HRIS systems

Nice To Haves

  • Payroll administration experience is considered an asset
  • HR experience in diverse industries and sectors considered an asset.
