About The Position

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function across the United States. This role is responsible for supporting core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, HR systems data entry, benefits administration support, employee documentation, and compliance tracking.This position is execution-focused and partners closely with the HR Director, HR Business Partner, Payroll, and site leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant completion of HR administrative processes.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR Associate degree + relevant HR experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2–4 years of HR administrative or coordinator experience
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic federal and state employment laws
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills and experience supporting HR reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding activities including offer letter distribution, background checks, new hire paperwork, and data entry
  • Process employee status changes (job changes, compensation updates, terminations) in HRIS
  • Prepare and maintain employee files in compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Support offboarding processes, including separation documentation and system notifications
  • Maintain HR trackers (LOA, accommodations, training, compliance reporting, etc.)
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment questions and coordinate with benefits vendors
  • Support leave of absence documentation and tracking
  • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure proper coding and processing of leaves, status changes, and compensation updates.
  • Provide payroll support as needed, including auditing employee data and assisting with payroll-related inquiries.
  • Maintain benefit eligibility and enrollment records
  • Support compliance audits and reporting requirements
  • Maintain I-9 documentation and ensure compliance
  • Assist with unemployment claims documentation gathering
  • Support preparation of headcount and workforce reports
  • Respond to general HR inbox inquiries and route complex matters to HRBP or HR Director
  • Provide basic policy guidance to employees and managers
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, investigations, and documentation preparation
