This temporary, part-time Human Resources Generalist position is established to provide operational continuity. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing a wide range of professional human resources support services to ensure continuity of HR operations. Responsibilities include payroll and personnel auditing, employee record maintenance, performance management tracking, recruitment support, and compliance monitoring with City policies, procedures, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable State and Federal laws. This position involves handling confidential matters pertaining to personnel records, employee medical files, budgetary information, and collective bargaining information. The role requires collaboration with department directors, managers, and staff to support overall organizational effectiveness during the temporary assignment period.
