HR Coordinator – People Operations Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting employees throughout their lifecycle? Gridworks is seeking a proactive HR Coordinator to support our People Operations team and help ensure a seamless employee experience across the organization. About the Company Established in 2014, Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. Primarily operating across the Southwest, we are expanding into other regions. With nearly 3 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects, we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and HR software systems required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and independently manage assigned projects through completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Professional integrity with the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive, personable, and service-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Process new hire onboarding activities, including HRIS entry, I-9 completion, and E-Verify administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital employee records and documentation.
  • Assist with employee offboarding and termination processing.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support employees by answering questions and resolving issues with a high level of customer service.
  • Assist with learning management system administration and training tracking.
  • Generate and submit reports related to general HR activity and workforce data.
  • Support employment verifications and unemployment claims processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
  • Contribute to development and distribution of HR procedures and documentation.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned by the People Operations Manager.
