Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR and recruiting experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships and influence and guide others.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, problem solving, organization and time management skills.
  • Current knowledge of legal requirements for human resources, labor, and safety.
  • Ability to remain approachable and accessible to employees on all shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key onsite business partner by developing strong relationships with employees leading to an understanding of how HR can best support each Saputo Department.
  • Support HR Manager and employees with program administration, employee relations, retention, payroll, safety, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, worker’s compensation.
  • Conduct onboarding, employee exits, investigations, and other employee engagement activities.
  • Interprets, develops and ensures consistent application of all Saputo policies.
  • Key Talent Acquisition leader, responsible for role assessment, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, reference/background checks, job offers, orientation and HRIS transactions (Workday preferred).
  • Coordinate office events and volunteer events, order supplies, resolve facilities concerns and other duties as required.
