The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day execution of Human Resources operations across the employee lifecycle. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP or similar preferred)
  • Experience supporting employee relations and leave administration required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient written, verbal and oral English communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Microsoft, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred
  • Exposure to compensation analysis is a plus!
  • Understanding of 503B regulatory requirements, cGMP standards, and USP guidelines is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding activities, including conducting new hire orientations and ensuring accurate employee setup in HR systems
  • Process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and compensation updates
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and HR processes; troubleshoot and resolve routine issues
  • Partner with the HR Coordinator to maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity through regular audits and reporting
  • Administer the annual performance management cycle, including system setup, communications, and tracking completion
  • Provide support to managers and employees throughout the performance review process
  • Support employee relations matters by assisting with fact-finding, documentation, and case tracking
  • Draft employee communications and documentation, including performance improvement plans and corrective actions
  • Partner with HR leadership to ensure consistent application of policies and practices
  • Prepare and update job descriptions in alignment with organizational needs and market standards
  • Assist with market pricing and salary analysis to support compensation decisions
  • Support engagement surveys, including administration and reporting
  • Assist with recruiting coordination or candidate screening during periods of high hiring volume
  • Administer leave of absence programs, including ADA accommodations and workers’ compensation cases
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
  • Support policy updates, rollouts, and employee communications
  • Support training programs, including coordination, delivery, and compliance tracking
  • Assist with employee engagement and DEI initiatives, including events and communications
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards to support business needs
  • Analyze HR data and provide insights to support decision-making and workforce planning
  • Other duties as assigned.
