About The Position

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will support day-to-day human resources operations in a manufacturing setting, support workforce needs across multiple shifts, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and promoting a safe, productive, and engaged work environment. This role reports to the Sr. HR Manager and partners closely with the HR Manager and plant leadership to manage associate relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR programs aligned with operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), fluent in written and verbal communication preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Strong integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence, manage change, and work across diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn HR systems (Workday, Workforce, One Model, Tableau).
  • 1-2 years of clerical experience in human resources or related function.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or multi-site environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, listening, and proactive solutioning.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise supervisors with performance evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors.
  • Oversee translator work if applicable.
  • Conduct and document investigations, culture checks, and compliance reviews.
  • Manage FMLA cases, leave requests, accommodations, and related documentation.
  • Participate in interviews and hiring, coach managers on feedback and selection.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and monthly roundtable events.
  • Analyze workforce data and report trends to leadership.
  • Administer HR programs including disciplinary actions, disputes, hotline calls, and training.
  • Collaborate with HR Manager on associate experience, compliance, and supervisor development.
  • Ensure timely completion of unemployment claims and I-9s.
  • Maintain an open-door policy and handle employment inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
