The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks while gaining hands-on experience in core HR functions. This internship provides exposure to areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, HR compliance, and HR operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • This is an on-site position based in the Tampa Bay area and will require relocation if you are not currently located in the area.
  • This is a non-exempt role, and any overtime worked requires prior approval from management. Failure to obtain management approval for overtime may result in corrective action in accordance with company policy.
  • Being authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship is a precondition of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting activities including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing documentation and assisting with orientation materials
  • Help maintain employee records and ensure accurate data entry in HR systems
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, company events, and internal communications
  • Support HR with policy updates, handbook distribution, and document management
  • Help prepare reports and HR metrics as needed
  • Assist with training coordination and tracking employee development activities
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department
