About Diamond Braces Diamond Braces is a fast-growing, multi-location orthodontic organization focused on operational discipline, measurable performance, and scalable systems. We operate with clear standards, strict accountability, and consistent execution across all offices. Position Summary We are seeking a decisive HR Manager who understands operations, benefits, labor law, and enforcement — and is prepared to protect standards across a multi-site healthcare organization. This role is responsible for policy enforcement, compliance oversight, benefits administration, recruiting discipline, and workforce accountability. This is not a passive HR role. This position requires leadership, documentation discipline, and the ability to act when standards are not met. On-Site Requirement This role is fully on-site for the first 90 days. Hybrid consideration may be evaluated after 90 days based strictly on performance, documentation quality, and operational control.

Requirements

  • 5+ years HR management experience in multi-site healthcare or service environment
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor law
  • Experience handling investigations and employee discipline
  • Experience managing benefits administration
  • Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
  • Strong documentation discipline
  • Comfortable addressing non-compliance directly

Responsibilities

  • Policy Enforcement & Employee Relations Enforce company policies across all locations
  • Issue and oversee corrective action documentation
  • Conduct internal investigations
  • Oversee legally compliant terminations
  • Ensure managers follow documentation standards
  • Labor Law & Compliance Maintain compliance with federal and state labor laws (NY/NJ preferred)
  • Oversee wage/hour compliance
  • Manage FMLA, ADA, leave administration
  • Maintain audit-ready employee files
  • Reduce organizational legal exposure
  • Benefits Administration Oversee health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits
  • Manage open enrollment
  • Coordinate with vendors and brokers
  • Ensure accurate payroll-benefit alignment
  • Operational HR Oversight Understand staffing models and labor cost impact
  • Identify workforce inefficiencies
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning
  • Support scalable HR systems within UKG
  • Recruiting & Retention Oversight Audit hiring documentation and interview discipline
  • Track 30/60/90-day retention
  • Identify turnover risk patterns
  • Hold managers accountable for hiring quality
