About The Position

POSITION PURPOSE: The Human Resources Specialist provides frontline support to employees by managing timekeeping, HRIS updates and changes, staffing agency and recruiting department coordination. This role ensures accurate data, positive employee experience, and efficient HR operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in HR operations, employee services, HRIS administration, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries related to, timekeeping, and HR processes.
  • Administer timekeeping processes including schedule edits, timesheet corrections, and compliance monitoring.
  • Perform HRIS updates including pay changes, job changes, and status updates.
  • Coordinate with Recruiting department on onboarding and ensure completion.
  • Support benefits processes including enrollment, qualifying life events, and employee guidance.
  • Coordinate with staffing agencies on onboarding, assignments, and time approvals.
  • Reconcile staffing agency invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation in accordance with company policy.
  • Generate HRIS and timekeeping reports and assist with Unemployment claims as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement of HR processes.
