About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Human Resources Specialist to support various areas of Human Resources with a heavy lean on recruitment. This role will be responsible for coordinating candidate sourcing, prescreening, scheduling, and candidate communications, while partnering closely with hiring managers to meet ongoing staffing needs. As part of a high-performing HR team, the Human Resource Specialist will play a key role in ensuring a positive candidate experience and helping drive a consistent and scalable hiring process. This role is critical to supporting our broader recruitment and retention strategy, especially as we continue to improve our onboarding and employee development programs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or talent acquisition
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), calendar management, and sourcing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to identify skills and requirements related to essential job functions and design effective skills training programs
  • A strong desire to assist individuals to reach their fullest potential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related software (Workday preferred)
  • General knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and regulatory requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in a multi-location or multi-department setting
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes or HR systems (Workday preferred)
  • Exposure to candidate experience or employer branding efforts

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment by posting jobs, sourcing candidates, and conducting initial resume screens
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers across locations
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify job needs, interview plans, and timeline expectations
  • Prepare and manage interview schedules and assist with feedback collection
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal teams and external candidates
  • Utilize online tools (job boards, social media, referrals) to identify and attract qualified candidates
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of passive and active candidates for current and future openings
  • Assist with the planning and execution of recruiting events and career fairs
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Team to ensure a smooth handoff from offer acceptance to onboarding
  • Share candidate insights to help inform onboarding plans and role readiness
  • Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill and source effectiveness
  • Support the continuous improvement of recruiting processes and candidate experience
  • Partner with the Human Resources Team in areas focused on talent management, employee relations, and other various HR functions.
  • Ensure compliance to the Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and ethical standards of the group are sustainable and world-leading.
