In this role, you will provide leadership and perform administrative functions to carry out objectives and goals of the department, and to implement the department's vision using local community resources and department staff and programs. As a Human Services Supervisor 2, you will: Providing leadership and support to the branch team is the aim of this role. The majority of the tasks will be related to and assist with eligibility work. Use department staff, programs, and resources to implement the department's vision while exercising leadership and carrying out administrative duties in order to accomplish the Oregon Eligibility Partnership's objectives and goals. The Human Services Supervisor 2 is responsible for the daily function of the office. The position manages and directs cross-functional teams and programs in collaboration efforts by assigning work procedures consistent with the department's policies, recommending revisions to department policies and procedures, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by staff to meet agreed upon goals, objectives, and targets. In collaboration with management partners, both public and private, the position helps design, implement, evaluate, and modify programs and services legislated by federal, state, and local governments. The position actively seeks to achieve the ODHS goals of integrity, stewardship, responsibility, respect, service equity, innovation, and professionalism. The position assures that program delivery performance of the work team complies with department expectations, objectives, laws, rules, regulations, and case management practices. The position anticipates agency needs and direction and communicates that vision to staff and the community so that effective change can occur when needed.
