About The Position

Gropp Heating, Air & Electric is hiring for HVAC Installers. Servicing the Moscow and Pullman area for over 30 years, we’re looking for you to join our team! Come start your career now and apply with us! HVAC Apprentice Installer in a Nutshell - The Installer will install HVAC equipment into residential customer’s homes. This includes equipment such as: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components.

Requirements

Desire to learn the HVAC trade and become a journeyman
Ability to measure ductwork and install all equipment and accessories
Must be able to lift 100lbs
Comfortable working from ladders that are 28’ and possibly higher
Excellent customer service skills
Comfortable working outdoor in the elements
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record

Responsibilities

Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes
Troubleshoot equipment installation, start-up, operation and other issues
Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings
Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational
Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle
Follow all safety and training per company policy and procedure
Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and in operating order
Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings
Other duties as assigned
