About The Position

This Journey level position performs installation, maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and climate control systems within historic buildings and other physical accommodations for the Church. The expectation is to provide preventative and corrective maintenance, and construction for these facilities, to portray an image of dignity, integrity, and respectability with a justifiable standard of time, quality, and cost. May be needed to perform other phases of general construction, in the following areas: carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, or auto mechanics. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignment are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
