About The Position

Conduct detailed site assessments to gather information on existing HVAC systems and project requirements. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into commercial building designs. Design and layout HVAC systems for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. Prepare accurate and detailed HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications using industry-standard software. Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on project specifications, energy efficiency, and client needs. Provide technical support to project teams during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in HVAC design. Ensure that all HVAC designs meet environmental and energy efficiency standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Valid state license for HVAC design.
  • Proven experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality designs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
