Requirements

High School degree or equivalent
Must have clean driving record
Minimum 5 years experience working on commercial HVAC systems
Completed coursework in HVAC areas
Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing system
Must be able to pass background check
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment

Nice To Haves

VA HVAC journeyman license preferred
Universal CFC Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Complete routine PM's (change filters, belts, clean coils, bearing lubrication, etc.)
Diagnose/repair (indoor/outdoor, motor replacements, component replacements, humidifiers, T-stats, fuses, contactors, relays, transformers etc.)
AHU's, RTU's, FCU's, WSHP's, Split Systems, CRAC units, VAV's, and other various types of mechanical HVAC equipment
Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling
Operate Building Energy Management System (EMS) and associated building controls
Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
Perform other related duties as assigned
