About The Position

Mechanical Resource Group, an HVAC, hydronics, sales, and service organization, is seeking a Project Manager. This position works in collaboration with the Sales Team, Service Manager and Dispatch. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following with your turnkey projects team:

Requirements

• At least 5 years of HVAC experience
• Leadership and ownership

• HVAC project execution
• Managing turnkey mechanical projects
• Reviewing and managing monthly financials
• HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge
• Reviewing and validating material, manhour, and subcontractor scope and costs

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the client and team job status updates
• Update and communicate codes, standards, and system requirements with the team
• Audit projects for proper preconstruction planning
• Review preconstruction turnkey scopes with Sales prior to submission
• Confirm accurate material scope and costs
• Confirm accurate manhour scope and costs
• Confirm accurate subcontractors scope and costs
• Confirm accurate schedule timeline
• Confirm accurate billing requirements
• Confirm material orders
• Provide schedules for projects when necessary
• Manage all parts, materials, subcontractors and manpower for timely and quality execution. Get jobs completed for client satisfaction
• Execute and manage to committed schedules
• Material procurement
• Subcontracts
• Internal manpower
• Audit all project cost allocations monthly, confirming all PO’s, subcontractors and labor costs have been allocated properly
• Executing projects at target gross margins
• Assist sales team in pursuing, strategizing, estimating, and executing turnkey projects
• Review monthly projects financials at month end to verify all costs are entered and all jobs are closed and billed to maintain financial accuracy and cash flow
• Unitary equipment installations
• Applied equipment installations
• Pipe fitting projects
• Refrigerant piping projects
• Duct work, sheet metal, and insulation projects
• Turnkey projects
• Projects with subcontractors
