Some specific duties of an HVAC Service Technician may include: Install and maintain HVAC systems: HVAC Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. They may work on a variety of systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems: HVAC Service Technicians are responsible for identifying the root cause of any issues with HVAC systems. They use diagnostic tools and their knowledge of the systems to identify problems and come up with solutions. Repair and replace components: HVAC Service Technicians repair or replace any faulty or worn components in HVAC systems. This may involve replacing a motor, fixing a leak, or replacing a compressor. Perform regular maintenance: HVAC systems require regular maintenance to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
