HVAC Supervisor - 8 hours daily, 12-month position

About The Position

This position is responsible for providing HVAC services identifying repair and replacement needs. This position is expected to install, maintain, repair, and upgrade HVAC systems. This position is part of the maintenance team and reports to the lead HVAC.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent combined with on-the-job/technical training required.
Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
High degree of motivation, responsibility, and confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability in compiling, organizing, and analyzing data.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment
Highly collaborative team player.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.).
Basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages, and/or ratios.
Firm adherence to safety practices.

Responsibilities

Attends, in-service training, unit meetings, and workshops.
Cleans air conditioning and heating units ensuring units are operating within safety guidelines.
Coordinates employment recommendations, outside service contracts, and schedules.
Documenting activities and conveying information thorough written reports.
Fabricates equipment parts meeting specialty needs and replacing unavailable parts.
Identifies causes of problems and failures in HVAC systems.
Informs the team regarding procedures, status of work orders, and provides necessary information for making decisions complying with standards and regulations.
Implements activities and projects complying with guidelines and requirements.
Installs HVAC equipment and systems providing enhanced capabilities.
Maintains equipment, facilities, tools, and vehicle ensuring safe operating condition.
Maintains equipment, tools, and vehicle to ensure availability in safe operating condition.
Monitors equipment, facilities, and tools condition and recommends maintenance and repairs.
Participates in meetings, trainings, seminars, and workshops.
Performs routine and preventive maintenance ensuring ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.
Removes snow from parking lots and sidewalks ensuring safety for vehicles and people.
Repairs HVAC components and systems ensuring a comfortable work environment.
Requests and transports equipment, supplies, and tools for job sites.
Responds to afterhours and emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concern.
Trains staff for the purpose of developing professional safety and trade awareness skills.
Perform other duties as assigned.
