We’re looking for a New Construction Systems Engineering Manager to spearhead our engineering team—guiding cutting-edge projects and transforming ideas into industry-leading solutions. Requirements

  • Proven experience leading systems or application engineering teams
  • Strong background in engineering project lifecycle, cost analysis, and system design
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Commitment to quality, technical innovation, and customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred and or a minimum of five years of experience in Application engineering.
  • Prior experience in supervision of technical / engineering group.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive responsibility in the construction industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or Professional Engineer Registration highly desired.
  • Recognized as a leading expert in several core engineering competencies.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, especially in presentation of technical material.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and schedule your team’s workload with precision.
  • Prioritize tasks, coordinate engineering projects, and ensure timely, high-quality results.
  • Provide accurate timeframes and engineering cost estimates to project management for budgeting and execution success.
  • Develop, refine, and champion engineering standards and processes that foster consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Introduce new applications and operational techniques.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and emerging tech that enhance performance and reliability.
  • Offer advanced technical support and act as the regional authority in application engineering.
  • Guide a team of engineers and designers to select technology that balances performance with cost efficiency.
  • Use data and performance reports to assess team and project outcomes—and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers, consultants, and architect engineers to support project development and execution.
  • Hire, retain, and develop a top-performing team.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and chart out career development pathways.
  • Partner with major projects and branch teams to align resources, hit milestones, and exceed client expectations.
