About The Position
Duties/Responsibilities: · Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC systems and compressed air system equipment · Perform annual maintenance on chillers and air handlers including the following: o Record unit running hours, condenser and evaporator pressures o Record compressor oil level o Replace oil and oil filters o Condenser tube brushing o Replace system filters · Perform preventative maintenance on compressed air systems including the following: o Schedule and change machine oils and filter o Overhaul internal and external components as required o Replace defective / worn out parts as needed o Lubricate required items as scheduled o Perform complete preventive maintenance
Requirements
- Solid understanding of chilled water systems
- Knowledge of air compressors and systems
- Ability to read and understand machine maintenance manuals, operation manuals, and associated machine documentation. Paperback and digital
- Ability to coordinate with suppliers, parts departments, and contractors
- Operation of forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lift, and working at elevated heights
- Knowledge of, and ability to comply with OSHA Safety and company rules
- Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a technical apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of qualified maintenance experience
- EPA 608 Certification
