About The Position

This role is ideal for a seasoned Bryant HVAC professional who is passionate
about technology and customer service, and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced
environment. As the HVAC Technical Support Specialist, you will deliver
exceptional technical support to our HVAC dealers, branches, and sales team,
primarily through phone and email communication. You will also provide technical
training to professional HVAC dealers and technicians, enhancing their
troubleshooting skills with the latest products and technologies in the evolving
HVAC industry.

Requirements

• HVAC Technical certification preferred.
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of HVAC service.
• Have a good working knowledge of electrical / refrigeration / air flow.
• Proficiency with MS Office, including Windows, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and effectively communicate them to technicians in the field.
• Excellent communication skills to assist and guide technicians in the field.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Capability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC service and installation.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Ability to work from home.
• Team player mentality, as we operate as one cohesive team.

Nice To Haves

• Refrigeration License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales HVAC technical support to customers, dealers, and contractors via phone and email.
• Conduct dealer technical training sessions, though these will be limited. Training could occasionally be scheduled before and/or after traditional working hours.
• Perform duties independently and under supervision, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Develop and maintain a personal and professional growth plan.
• Stay at the forefront of new HVAC technologies, equipment, and accessories by attending training sessions provided by manufacturers and Homans Associates.
• Conduct on-site job visits as needed. Local travel required.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Drive supplemental sales through technical support interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
