About The Position

General Purpose: To test and ensure proper standards for all products to meet company, state and federal guidelines.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 10 am to 6 pm (Saturday work and overtime as required) This position will cover vacations and call offs when needed on either 1st or 2nd shift as they occur.

Requirements

• Average math, writing and reading skills
• Strong team player
• Able to use Excel, Work, MS Teams, Outlook
• Ability to communicate with Quality Assurance and plant personnel on any QA issues
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
• Ability to multitask with positive results
• Good organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Some laboratory experience is preferred.
• There is a 90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Checking Good Manufacturing Practices procedures
• Microbiological Testing
• Weights and Volume Evaluations
• Organoleptic Evaluations
• Checking Titration, pH, Brix, Fats, Solids and additional testing as required
• Checking Metal Detector
• Set up Code Date equipment for daily production
• Inspect product for Proper Labeling and Code Dates
• Assist with maintaining and controlling production, quality, and/or regulatory documents
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/management
