Organization Overview: The Associate Director is responsible for setting strategies and objectives for their area within Indy Device Assembly and Packaging (IDAP), supporting facility maintenance, utility and facility engineering, reliability engineering, and capital project management. This includes developing and implementing business plans, ensuring optimal operation and compliance of building systems, driving continuous improvement in asset reliability, and coordinating capital projects from design through commissioning. The Associate Director applies technical expertise to maintain equipment qualification, improve safety and environmental performance, and maximize asset life, while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence within the organization.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing Pharma experience required
  • Recognized strong team leadership skills, people development, coaching, and talent development
  • Technical competence in area of responsibility (typically 5 years experience, or more)
  • Solid regulatory compliance knowledge (GMP, OSHA, etc.)
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, mentor, coach, and recognize employees within their organization.

  • Provide technical input/support, as required
  • Develop local processes and procedures in accordance with the FUME system
  • Assure an adequate number of qualified resources to perform asset management processes
  • Meet the requirements of the FUME System through execution of local processes and procedures.
  • Use and encourage Lean tools to achieve success
  • Supports oversight and stewardship of site reliability processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goal
