The Imaging Representative pr ovides administrative support to the Imaging department, and assists with scheduling patients, updating patient information and providing patients with information.The Imaging Representative promotes patient confidentiality by screening incoming phone calls and all incoming visitors/patients to the office, and coordinates multiple department projects to be completed in a specified time frame.

Requirements

• One year of experience in a healthcare, customer service or administrative setting
• Excellent communication (both written and oral) skills
• Basic computer skills
• HS GED
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
• Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)

Nice To Haves

• Patient scheduling or Registration in a health care setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD codes
