SUMMARY: The Radiology Technologist is responsible to perform all radiographic procedures in an accurate, precise, timely and professional manner. The technologist must perform the duties following the policies and procedures of Moore County Hospital District and the Radiology Department. The technologist must maintain good communications with Radiologist, Radiology Director and all other hospital staff. The technologist must provide direct and indirect care to patients of all ages: including infant through geriatric patients .

Requirements

  • Certificate from Radiology Technologist Program
  • ARRT (R) and (CT) or must be eligible for (CT) registry within 6 months of employment
  • TEXAS STATE LICENSE
  • current CPR
  • Knowledge of accreditation process
  • Personal computer skills
  • Excellent technical, communication, organizational and planning skills

Nice To Haves

  • Six months of imaging procedures such as: CT, radiography and C-Arm preferred
