Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a PRN Imaging Technologist Aide for our mobile unit in Roanoke, VA. Work Schedule: PRN, as needed 8-hour shift coverage Monday thru Friday needs, no weekends Site: Carilion Medical Building (2001 Crystal Spring Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24014) The ideal candidate must possess: High school diploma or equivalent required CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required Certified Medical Assistant preferred Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred Patient care experience strongly preferred Self-starter with the ability to multi-task Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care Team player with a positive attitude Travel may be required, travel allowance is offered We value our employees and we want them to be healthy and happy. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
Team player with a positive attitude
Travel may be required, travel allowance is offered

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
Patient care experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Greeting and directing patients
Confirming and registering patients
Verifying all necessary information is available for the test
Ability to walk to and from hospital and trailer as needed
Assist patients in and out of the trailer
Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
Assist in setting up MRI scanning rooms
Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan rooms and control areas
Ordering supplies
Other responsibilities as directed
