About The Position
Responsibilities Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated anatomical area. Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, digital image management for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician as required. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible. Qualifications Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and be in good standing. Prefer the student to have completed first year and currently working on second year of program but not required. Must acquire registry within one year of program completion.
