Klickitat Valley Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. In this vital role, you’ll play a key part in supporting accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care by performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate is technically strong, safety-minded, and patient-focused—someone who takes pride in delivering excellent imaging while ensuring comfort, dignity, and clear communication throughout every exam. Working under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Department Manager, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams in a community-based healthcare setting where your work truly makes a difference. General Summary: The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician’s order for the treatment and diagnosis of disease and/or injury, and operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographic images. The Technologist takes radiographic images of the body while utilizing: C-arm, portable X-ray, and fixed radiology equipment. The Technologist ensures the patient’s safety throughout the procedure. All work is done under the direction and supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Department Manager. The Technologist demonstrates excellence in customer service during interactions with employees, managers/supervisors, physicians, patients, and patient family members, etc The Technologist is aware of the potential exposure to internal and external hazardous materials, including but not limited to: radiation, blood and blood-borne pathogens, infectious/communicable diseases, and potential physical injury while caring for patients.
