The Implant Coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end management, tracking, and coordination of all implantable devices used in perioperative services, including biological tissue, orthopedic hardware, cardiac/vascular implants, and consigned or loaner systems. This role ensures regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, operational readiness, and seamless coordination between surgical teams, vendors, Supply Chain, Sterile Processing, and Materials Management. The position functions similarly to a materials expeditor, ensuring the right implant, at the right time, in the right location to support safe surgical care. Brown University Health employees are expected to successfully role model the organization’s values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence as these guide our everyday actions with patients, customers and one another.
