Nice To Haves

Experience in Cargowise (CW1) software is a plus.
Experience in clearance of air, ocean, truck, and rail cargo through U.S. Customs.

Responsibilities

Work with Importers and U.S. Customs to prepare, transmit, clear, examine, and deliver international cargo arriving into the U.S.
Coordinate with airlines, steamship lines, and truck lines to facilitate shipment movement into the U.S.
Collaborate with Participating Government Agencies such as FDA, FCC, DOT, F&W, EPA, etc., to clear cargo arriving into the U.S.
Ensure adherence to customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), agency regulations, and company standards.
Enter, upload, or compile shipment importation and commercial invoice data into in-house software for transmission to U.S. Customs.
Conduct preliminary Entry Summary auditing.
Partner with clients on U.S. Customs entry requirements.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
