About The Position

Plascore is an employee driven organization, fueled by professional teams with dedicated years of service to manufacturing Plascore has an opening for an Import/Export Compliance Administrator who will be in Coordination and implementation of import and export compliance programs to ensure adherence to all international trade laws, and manage all administrative responsibilities of the Plascore Foreign Trade Zone operation.

Requirements

• Work Experience: Five to seven years progressively more responsible experience
• General Educational Development: A professional level of knowledge in a specialized field equivalent to that ordinarily acquired by completing a four-year baccalaureate program and additional specialized training or credentials in field of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an export compliance program that aligns with applicable laws and regulations including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Provide training to employees on export compliance requirements and best practices, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
• Stay updated on changes in export regulations and adjust internal policies and procedures accordingly to maintain compliance.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of export license applications and ensure that all shipping documents meet regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with government bodies such as the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Directorate of Defense Trace Control (DDTC) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Routinely review HTS codes for accuracy.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory within the FTZ using SAP B1 and QAD.
• Maintain accurate FTZ records and documentation in compliance with federal requirements.
• Conduct internal FTZ audits and support external audits by CBP or other regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and maintain records for all FTZ activities, including admissions, withdrawal and exports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all FTZ-related inquiries and issues.
• Continually review the supply chain to optimize tariff savings and streamline logistics.
• Stay current with trade remedies including antidumping, countervailing, and retaliatory tariffs, as well as quotas, exclusion, and drawback.
• Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
