About The Position

Visiting Angels is currently hiring compassionate and dependable caregivers to join our team. Our caregivers provide non-medical, in-home support that helps seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

If you enjoy helping others and want meaningful work, we welcome you to apply. CNA or HHA certifications are not required. Applicants with caregiving experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or caring for a family member)
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state requirements
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the office team

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
• Assist with mobility and transfers when needed
• Run errands or assist with grocery shopping if required
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition
