About The Position

Home Care Staff perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, housekeeping, laundry, and meeting the needs of our clients in compliance with Snyder Village policies and procedures. This description is intended to be a general statement about this job and not to be considered a detailed assignment. It may be modified by Snyder Village to adjust for necessary changes. I understand the above are job requirements and at the same time, I know of no limitations that would prevent me from performing these functions with or without accommodation.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Driver’s License and maintains liability and collision insurance.

Responsibilities

housekeeping
laundry
attendant
homemaker services
companion care and transportation services
Observes clients’ physical condition, attitude, reaction, etc. Report any changes.
Performs all assigned duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, safety rules and regulations.
Adheres to sanitary, safety and infection control procedures for washing, drying, storage and handling of materials and equipment.
Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis.
Gives on the job training for new staff members
Maintains confidentiality of all clients/ residents’
Observes resident’s rights
Valid Driver’s License and maintains liability and collision insurance.
Performs other and related duties as assigned
Attends in-services and department meetings
