About the position
The In-House Marketing Lead Agent provides in-person marketing with prospective and/or current owners with our resorts. Schedules guests to meet with a representative for a presentation. The lead agent assists other marketing agents with their guests to schedule a presentation. Serves as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure. Partners with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in. Greets, presents, and incentivizes prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour. Screens and qualifies potential customers based on company guidelines. Makes sales-tour reservations and collects required deposits.
Responsibilities
- Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80%)
- Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually (10%)
- Assist other marketing agents with their prospective guests by helping with closing. May provide coaching and feedback as appropriate (10%)
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One (1) year sales and/or marketing experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Ability to effectively coach
- Ability to efficiently multi-task
- Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices
