About The Position

In-person Algebra tutor supporting students through targeted academic assistance and reinforcement of core math concepts. The tutor will work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM, helping students strengthen their understanding, improve problem-solving skills, and build confidence in Algebra.

Requirements

• Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.

• Providing academic assistance in Highschool Science.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive
• Bridging language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need
