About The Position

IGT is seeking an In Process Inspector II to support IGT Reno manufacturing by serving as a critical quality and compliance checkpoint between production and shipment for electronic gaming devices. This role helps protect regulatory compliance, configuration accuracy, and workmanship standards by identifying issues early, resolving order blockers, and ensuring units are ready to release without defects or compliance risk. Working closely with cross-functional partners across the operation, the In Process Inspector II investigates discrepancies, drives timely resolution, and helps keep product moving through the build-to-ship process in a shipment-ready and audit-ready state. The position reinforces IGT’s commitment to shipping devices that meet requirements the first time - without rework or compliance gaps.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of SAP functional experience, with intermediate understanding of SAP related to configuration, allocations, bills of materials (BOM), and compliance requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of business processes within manufacturing, logistics, and engineering support groups
  • Ability to perform thorough review and detailed investigation when analyzing situations, business practices, or data
  • Strong attention to detail, independent problem-solving skills, and self-starting initiative
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in group/presentation settings
  • Ability to work swing shift and overtime as needed
  • Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Control Board gaming card

Responsibilities

  • Execute in-process and end-of-line inspection activities to ensure product quality, configuration accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform functional testing of electronic gaming devices to established Test Engineering criteria.
  • Validate SAP order configuration against actual production output.
  • Inspect devices to established workmanship criteria prior to release to shipment.
  • Wipe and/or remove regulated software from devices prior to shipment to customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify deviations from standard process, document findings, and recommend appropriate next steps.
  • Partner with internal customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues causing order or process holds.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive timely resolution and clean release.
