About The Position
Inbound Supervisor – Warehouse / Distribution Center Location: Monroe, NJ TWS of Carteret LLC (Total Warehouse Solutions) Full-Time | Exempt Position Overview TWS of Carteret LLC is hiring an experienced Inbound Supervisor to lead warehouse receiving operations at our distribution center in Monroe, NJ . This role is responsible for managing inbound freight, dock operations, warehouse staff, and daily receiving workflows to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader with experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, supply chain, and high-volume distribution environments .
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Inbound Supervisor, or Receiving Supervisor
- Experience in distribution centers, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong leadership experience managing warehouse teams or labor crews
- Knowledge of dock operations, freight handling, and inventory control
- Familiarity with WMS systems, Ragic, or warehouse tracking software
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
Responsibilities
- Supervise inbound warehouse operations , including receiving, unloading, and dock management
- Ensure trailers are properly assigned to dock doors and unloaded safely
- Manage and lead warehouse associates, lumpers, and receiving teams
- Coordinate daily inbound plan with operations team, clerks, and supervisors
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance
- Monitor productivity, KPIs, and warehouse performance metrics
- Identify and resolve issues related to damaged freight, loading errors, and workflow inefficiencies
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation, manifests, and reporting systems (Ragic or WMS)
- Communicate with cross-functional teams (outbound, operations, customer teams)
- Prioritize and manage high-volume inbound shipments and time-sensitive freight
- Early shift warehouse planning and trailer verification
- Dock scheduling and yard coordination
- Floor supervision across multiple dock doors and receiving lanes
- Quality control inspections (pallet condition, wrapping, freight handling)
- Midday and end-of-day operational reporting and audits
- Coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and customers.
