Job Overview & Responsibilities The Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Program Lead will be responsible for leading mission integration IV&V activities in support of National Security Space (NSS) launches. The successful candidate will: Lead the IV&V team in communicating all risks and findings back to the responsible ULA Chief Engineers and Program Office leaders. Communicate and work directly with each engineering technology group to track IV&V coordination and issues (technical & schedule) Communicate and work directly with IV&V government customer representatives and work as liaison between the IV&V customer community and ULA Engineering Ensure timely and effective response to IV&V findings and RFIs. Own data delivery schedule, communication, iDM folder management, external access request/permissions, and Control Account Manager for IV&V Manage and update the Data Request Log Provide cost estimates/proposals for new mission IV&V scope Build presentation material and support Program Management Review (PMRs), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and out brief to Mission Director, IV&V Poll, and Loads Users Group Ensure proper tools available for everyone to support IV&V requirements Ensure mission specific schedule and technical responsibilities are pushed down to the appropriate level

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field from an accredited college or university
  • Program/Project management experience
  • Experience with contractual deliverables and requirements
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with the external customers
  • Experience coordinating with and have a broad understanding of multiple technical disciplines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to include in the integration of presentation charts
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and lead others
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD TS/SCI is required. US citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Launch Vehicle and Aerospace Engineering experience
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with a US Government customer

Responsibilities
