About The Position

Industrial Cleaning Operators are responsible for removing industrial waste from customer’s facilities using equipment such as vacuum trucks and high pressure water equipment. When Industrial Cleaning Operators are not working on a customer’s site or responding to emergency spills, they are working at our facility loading and off-loading trucks and assisting with waste bulking, receiving, and transferring.

Requirements

• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as tanker, vacuum truck, forklift and pallet-jack.
• Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments.
• Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities
• A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Operates light and heavy equipment relating to clean-up, including: tanker, roll-off, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, and sewer cleaners.
• Responds to customer spills and emergencies.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections.
• Maintains vehicle logs.
• Performs general housekeeping, including maintenance of equipment and site.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
