About The Position

Handshake is looking for skilled Rhino 3D users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll draw on your hands-on experience with NURBS-based 3D modeling, product design, or complex freeform geometry to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand 3D modeling tasks and industrial design workflows.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside anything else you have going on.
This is a good fit if you're an experienced Rhino 3D user who has worked in or around roles like:
Industrial Designer or Product Designer
Computational Designer or Fabrication Specialist
Jewelry Designer or Automotive Designer
You should have solid experience with one or more of the following:
NURBS-based 3D modeling, industrial design, or complex freeform geometry using Rhino 3D
Product prototyping, fabrication workflows, or consumer product design
Annotating or labeling 3D models and design assets
Reviewing 3D models for accuracy, geometric integrity, or design consistency

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Rhino 3D, whether through professional work or freelance projects
• A working knowledge of NURBS modeling, industrial design concepts, and 3D geometry workflows
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and follow written guidelines

Responsibilities

• Use your experience with Rhino 3D to create tool-related questions
• Review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world industrial design and 3D modeling workflows
