About The Position

Mako Industries is hiring Industrial Electricians / Electrical Helpers that will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in poultry farm operations. This includes ensuring proper function of ventilation systems, feeding equipment, lighting, water systems, and climate control systems critical to bird health and production. Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and wiring Troubleshoot electrical issues in farm equipment and facilities Maintain and repair ventilation systems, fans, heaters, and cooling systems Support operation of automated feeding and watering systems Inspect electrical components such as motors, control panels, and circuit breakers Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime Follow safety procedures and electrical codes at all times Assist senior electricians with more complex repairs and installations Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Respond to emergency breakdowns as needed

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Exposure to dust, feathers, and farm odors
  • Hot and cold environments depending on season
  • May require weekend, early morning, or evening shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read and interpret simple electrical diagrams
  • Previous experience in industrial, agricultural, or farm environments is a plus
  • Willingness to work in conditions involving dust, odors, noise, and varying temperatures
