About The Position

As our Industrial Electrician, you will: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to ensure operational efficiency. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment. Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate repairs and installations. Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and apprentices. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Valid electrical license/certification as required by state or local regulations.
  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to work required daily & weekend overtime as needed in a 3-shift operation.
