Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Industrial Electrical Degree and/or verifiable Vocational Education in Electrical field required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience with industrial electrical applications and/or education and experience combined is required.
- State journeyman or master electrician license preferred.
- Must have working knowledge and comprehension of state, and federal safety regulations as well as the local, state, and federal electrical code standards.
- Must have experience working with 3 phase motors and controls.
- Basic working exposure to PLC. (Inputs, outputs, and logic).
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair of the electrical components for all equipment with as minimal of downtime as possible.
- Perform electrical preventive maintenance on all equipment as required.
- Ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed as needed to conform to governmental regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance management, lead electricians, and other peers to become familiar with electrical maintenance procedures and processes for all equipment supported by this position.
- Provide customer service to other associates by way of trouble-shooting electrical issues.
- Maintain safe and environmentally sound behavior and ensure that proper work procedures and practices are followed.
- Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
