Job Summary The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing production operations for wafer test and logistics. Major responsibilities include capacity planning, wafer logistics and Inventory management, Test Floor planning, KPI setup and review, optimization of logistics systems and software, and improving efficiency throughout the Operations organization.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field
Familiarity with Semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing
Knowledge of smart manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and/or Lean Manufacturing.
SQL for data extraction and analysis from MES / ERP systems
Experience with MES / manufacturing databases and data visualization tools
Expert in Planning Software tools such as Monday, Access,
Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and computer tasks required.
Must have good planning skills and be able to work independently without supervision.

Nice To Haves

Computer programming skills are a plus, especially Python and C++ scripting
A positive attitude and motivated to learn new skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Good Critical thinking and Organizational skills required
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

Capacity and Cost model for Operations, both current and future product planning
Test and optimize logistics software, such as Oracle and ERP systems, in partnership with Planning, Finance, and Vendors
Establish standard process methodologies and tools to enable efficient workflows.
Create and improve necessary documentation
Improve shipping and receiving of materials to domestic and international locations
Inventory management at Santa Clara site
Own and analyze manufacturing KPIs (cycle time, WIP, utilization, OTD) to drive operational improvements
Perform bottleneck and what if capacity analysis to support product mix changes and ramps
Develop dashboards and recurring reports for wafer operations and logistics performance
