What You Will Do: The Industrial Engineer will work with senior leadership on capital expenditure and hiring plans based on capacity analysis, conduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE) and develop methods to increase productivity, maximize efficiency and manage human capital more effectively. Work closely with materials planning to review sales and operations planning requested changes and rough-cut long-term planning Work cross-functionally to imbed industrial engineering tools and processes in manufacturing or assembly facilities Evaluate effects of schedule and product design changes Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improving process flow Participate in and leading Kaizen events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in as STEM field and 2 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, machining, materials management, operations management, process improvement or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and 1+ years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, machining, materials management, operations management, process improvement or closely related industrial environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering degree (manufacturing, mechanical, industrial or aerospace engineering)
  • Understanding of capital acquisition process
  • Data mining & manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, other methods

Responsibilities
