Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a retail distribution center environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be substituted.
  • Experience with the development and maintenance of engineered labor standards and performance incentive programs
  • Experience with Warehouse Management and Labor Management systems (Manhattan Systems WM and LM for open systems preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as analytical capabilities are required.

Responsibilities

  • Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests
  • Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and effectively accomplish assigned duties through work of subordinates and/or peers.
  • Research, analyze, develop and manage programs, including business plans and budgets.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Labor Management and Incentive Programs, including engineered labor standards and Labor Management systems.
  • Knowledge of retail Distribution Center operations.
