ID Technology [http://www.idtechnology.com/] is seeking a Summer Intern to assist with various engineering projects. The position reports to the Project Engineering Manager of ID Technology – Fort Worth and will be based in Fort Worth, TX. This internship shall run 12 weeks. Full-time schedule Monday - Friday.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or higher Industrial Engineering degree or Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering program
Experience in CAD required.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
Skilled in recognizing and offering alternative solutions
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build partnerships and work with all levels of employees and management
Self-motivated, task-oriented, and able to self-direct daily activity

Responsibilities

Data consolidation – compile drawings, 3D models and .pdf files for sales support.
Relocate and maintain drawing and model files.
Support drawing requests from sales and machinery production.
Work with engineering on drawing document control and revision changes.
Will be tasked with implementing a project data management system.
Assist with other engineering projects as needed.
